Our newly built barn features:

  • Bright, rubber-matted stalls with high ceilings and windows;
  • Wide aisle with cross-tie areas;
  • Feed room with secure bins;
  • “Rug area” with blanket racks;
  • Heated tack room with individual lockers, tack storage, and hot water.

Other great amenities include:

  • 20m x 40m indoor arena with sand footing, bright lighting and sound system
  • 20m x 60m outdoor schooling ring with crumb rubber and sand footing
  • Large training field with banks, ditches and natural cross-country fences
  • Safe and easy access to hundreds of acres of farmland and miles of dirt roads for scenic hacking
  • Outdoor wash stall
  • Spacious paddocks (max. 6 per field) with shelters, Electrobraid fending and several with automatic waterers

Services

We offer knowledgeable staff and quality care with indoor and outdoor boarding options available.

  • Individualized feeding program using Shur-Gain Equiline feeds twice daily (owner-provided supplements fed at no extra charge)
  • Free choice hay with large round or square bales with slow feed netting
  • Indoor boarders fed additional hay during afternoon and at night
  • Grass pasture available from (approx.) June to November
  • Regular routine includes a night check around 10pm
  • Maximum turnout for indoor boarders (7-8 hrs in Winter, up to 12 hrs in Summer)
  • Stalls and water buckets cleaned daily
  • Blanketing, putting on boots and fly masks included in board price
  • Regular de-worming program
  • Holding for barn farrier (Pat McNeely) and vet (OVLAC) (boarders using their own vets/farriers will be required to hold their own horses)
  • Trailering available to boarders at reasonable rates

You are welcome to bring your own coach provided he or she has the required coaching liability insurance.

All boarders and visiting riders are required to have a current OEF membership.
